ABOUT US
NatureCo is a research, and field-based organization specializing in nature conservation, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, rewilding, and nature-based solutions in Vietnam.Established in 2014, NatureCo brings together strong technical expertise across forestry, environmental management, conservation planning, biodiversity surveys and monitoring, remote sensing, natural resource management, ecotourism, community development, and capacity building for stakeholders engaged in nature conservation, biodiversity protection, and climate change adaptation.NatureCo’s mission is to contribute to the protection, restoration, and sustainable management of Vietnam’s natural ecosystems, supporting biodiversity conservation, community livelihoods, climate resilience, and the country’s long-term sustainable development.
VISION
A future where Vietnam’s natural ecosystems are effectively protected, restored, and successfully rewilded; where biodiversity values are conserved and sustained; and where nature serves as a foundation for climate adaptation, ecological security, and sustainable development, with the active participation of communities and key stakeholders.

MISSION
NatureCo advances research, nature conservation, and biodiversity conservation through applied research, biodiversity monitoring, and practical management support programs, contributing to more effective management of protected and conservation areas, as well as the restoration of habitats and populations of threatened species.NatureCo develops and implements ecosystem restoration, rewilding, and nature-based initiatives grounded in science, technology, community engagement, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, with the goal of delivering practical, long-term, and sustainable conservation outcomes.
OUR WORKS
NatureCo advances green development and nature-based solutions to support biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable development.

APPROACHING METHOD
NatureCo adopts an approach grounded in science, practical management experience, community participation, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Its activities are designed based on an understanding of native ecosystems, field data, local management needs, and the long-term viability and sustainability of interventions beyond project completion.NatureCo integrates research, action, management, policy, and resource mobilization to ensure that conservation outcomes are translated into practical field-based solutions that strengthen management capacity, restore habitats, protect threatened species, and generate lasting benefits for both nature and communities.

EXPERIENCE & CAPACITY

NatureCo is led by a young, passionate, and dynamic team with the capacity to rapidly adopt innovative approaches and emerging technologies in research, biodiversity monitoring, and natural resource management. In addition, NatureCo is supported by a strong network of experienced experts, collaborators, & professional partners with extensive expertise in forestry, biodiversity, nature conservation, remote sensing, ecosystem restoration, community development, & sustainable natural resource management.
NatureCo has implemented and contributed to a wide range of projects, and conservation initiatives across Vietnam, including in Hanoi, Dien Bien, Son La, Lam Dong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, Quang Tri, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, and Da Nang.Key areas of work include biodiversity surveys, monitoring of threatened species, conservation planning, forest and habitat restoration, environmental communication and awareness, ecotourism, capacity building, and management support for protected areas, national parks, protection forests, and local communities.

NatureCo is committed to upholding excellence, professionalism, accountability, and long-term collaboration with government authorities, protected areas, communities, businesses, and partners in support of nature conservation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable development in Vietnam.

APPLIED RESEARCH ON BIODIVERSITY & CLIMATE CHANGE
NatureCo conducts applied research on ecosystems, critical habitats, populations of threatened species, climate change impacts, and emerging threats to nature.Through field surveys, data analysis, species and habitat monitoring, ecological risk assessments, conservation prioritization, and management recommendations, NatureCo aims to provide a strong scientific and practical foundation for nature conservation, biodiversity management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development in Vietnam.NatureCo places strong emphasis on translating research findings into management recommendations, context-specific action plans, practical species conservation programs, habitat restoration initiatives, and effective management models tailored to local conditions.

HABITAT & ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION
NatureCo promotes the restoration of critical natural habitats, including degraded natural forests, mangrove forests, wetlands, limestone habitats, ecological corridors, and areas of high biodiversity value.Through an approach grounded in science, native ecological conditions, and stakeholder participation, NatureCo supports the recovery of ecosystem structure, function, and resilience, creating conditions for native flora and fauna to recover and thrive sustainably.NatureCo’s restoration efforts go beyond increasing vegetation cover. They focus on restoring habitat quality, enhancing food availability, improving shelter and breeding areas, strengthening ecological connectivity and wildlife movement corridors, increasing climate resilience, and sustaining long-term ecosystem functions.

REWILDING & SPECIES POPULATION RECOVERY
NatureCo promotes and supports rewilding, species reintroduction, and population recovery initiatives for threatened wildlife through a science-based, integrated, and long-term approach.Activities include habitat assessments, identification of suitable release sites, threat mitigation, preparation of management conditions, disease risk assessments, control of hunting and trapping pressures, post-release monitoring, and the application of science and technology for species monitoring and management.NatureCo approaches rewilding not simply as the return of species to the wild, but as a broader process of restoring ecological functions, enhancing the long-term viability of species populations, re-establishing ecosystem balance, and strengthening local community support for conservation.

CAPACITY BUILDING, CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT
& MULTI-STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
NatureCo supports improved management effectiveness across areas of high conservation value, including special-use forests, protection forests, national parks, protected areas, biosphere reserves, heritage sites, wetlands, ecological corridors, and Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs).Through training, technical guidance, development of management frameworks and procedures, support for field patrols and monitoring, technology applications, data management, and the promotion of multi-stakeholder collaboration, NatureCo actively contributes to strengthening the capacity of protected area managers, local authorities, communities, civil society organizations, and other relevant partners.NatureCo places particular emphasis on the meaningful participation of local communities and the active, responsible engagement of the private sector in nature conservation. This serves as a foundation for mobilizing broader social resources, reducing pressure on natural resources, and developing sustainable conservation models.

ADVANCING CONSERVATION POLICY, PLANNING
& RESOURCE MOBILIZATION FOR NATURE
NatureCo supports national and local government agencies in developing, reviewing, and strengthening policies, strategies, spatial plans, action plans, and management programs related to nature conservation, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and rewilding.NatureCo helps bridge scientific knowledge and management practice, supporting the integration of conservation into development planning, protected area management, landscape management, ecosystem restoration, sustainable financing mechanisms, and nature-based initiatives.Through technical advisory services, multi-stakeholder consultations, project development, and the mobilization of domestic, international, and private-sector resources, NatureCo contributes to making nature conservation an integral and practical component of sustainable development, ecological security, and social responsibility.
